Some things on it are very affordable, which is why a lot of people like shopping on there, but it’s a vendor site, so not only are there cheap knockoffs, but there are also the original brands like Pacsun, Edikted, Birkenstock, and a ton more. A lot of knock-off brands sell exact dupes of these brands for a lot cheaper than the original, like Birkenstock clog and Ugg dupes for as cheap as $30.
Dupes can also be found in other places. A lot of mass market retailers also take the designs of these popular items and make and sell them for a lot cheaper. Stores like Target and Walmart see popular trends in fashion in the moment such as these shoes, low rise jeans, or off the shoulder tops, and they make their own version of it and sell it at lower prices. Stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Ross also get their own versions of popular items but they are usually branded with less popular brands like juicy couture, reebok, and brands like that.
If you took a trip to the mall, a pair of jeans from your favorite stores would rack up to be about $60 a pair and shoes can be upwards of $100, but if you use these alternatives, you can save yourself from those hefty prices.
Although there are many cheaper alternatives, just because they are similar or look the same doesn’t mean they are the best quality. So, it might be worth the price if the quality is better.
If you still want to get the original products but aren’t sure you want to pay the prices, there are deals such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Although most brands have discounts, they usually aren’t much, so the items are still pretty expensive. But they are still cheaper than before and it’s fun to go out and see everyone shopping for Christmas presents. A lot of Christmas lists this year might consist of name-brand items that aren’t very affordable, so family and friends might try to find deals on the items.
Dupes might not be the best option, but they definitely will save you money. Although they might not be as good as the original, people might not even notice unless its mentioned, and even if they do, chances are they don’t really care. So, knock-off or not there are many price ranges to buy popular items and its up to you if the higher end is worth it or not.
