MARCH will be a big month for music. For a little background, Beyoncè came out with Renaissance in 2022 and went on tour from May to October of 2023. She also had a tour movie called Renaissance: a film by Beyoncè that made 44.4 million dollars at the box office.
This year, Beyoncè did a Verizon ad in the Superbowl where her music ‘breaks the internet’. Right after her Super Bowl ad aired, she took to YouTube to release two singles; “Texas Hold ‘em” and “16 Carriages,” which were quite a shock to her fans. Beyoncè is taking a new route with her music, releasing singles that have more of a country vibe rather than her usual pop music.
Later that night, Beyoncè announced that the second part of her trilogy album, Act II is coming out on March 29.
Three weeks earlier, Ariana Grandè’s brand new album titled Eternal Sunshine will be dropped on March 8. The hit pop star and famous Nickelodeon child actress has started teasing the album with her hit single and music video, Yes, and? which gives off an ‘80s vogue house vibe. This song was released in response to the allegations of Grande’s homewrecking scandal. She later released a remix version with the famous pop star who is responsible for All I Want for Christmas Is You —Mariah Carey.
Most of the tracks for her album have been released with titles such as “(Intro) End of the World,” “Don’t Want to Break up Again,” and “I Wish I Hated You,” along with more.
Taylor Swift also recently announced an album coming in early 2024. During the Grammys when Taylor Swift went on stage to accept her 13th award, she also announced her 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department, which seems to have more of an honest and vulnerable vibe.
Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign released a collaboration album titled Vultures 1 with part two coming in March and part 3 coming in April.
Conan Gray and Selena Gomez have also released singles titled Love on and Lonely Dancers. These singles have been topping the charts and fans are excited to see what’s going to make Billboard’s Top 100 this year.
With Eternal Sunshine and Act II coming out in March and The Tortured Poets Department coming out in early April, along with Vultures and lots of singles from other artists, 2024 is on track to be a good year for great music.
