Hey Lancers, on November 22, Kendrick Lamar released a new album called GNX. This album came out two years and six months after he released 2022’s most-streamed Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers with 1.4 billion streams on Spotify as stated on the billboard.com website.
This all makes it seem like GNX, the album he just released, is going to be a big hit based on his past success. GNX had 363 million streams on Spotify during its opening week. He released 12 songs on the album, with the most-streamed song being “Luther,” which he sang with SZA. It had around 49.2 million streams in the past five days as stated on the billboard.com website.
I really like how it sounds; My favorite song from the album is “Luther.” “Luther” has a more relaxed tone, and there isn’t too much going on at once. Everything fits together and makes sense. Unlike some songs where the beat doesn’t match, this song blends everything perfectly and sounds very nice and calming.
I also like “Squabble Up,” but not as much as I like “Luther.” I still think it’s a good song. I’m not really a big fan of Kendrick Lamar, nor do I listen to his music as much as I used to. I’d say I’m more neutral. I think this album is good, and I’ve liked a few of his songs in the past, but this isn’t really my favorite type of music or my favorite album of his.
The GNX album is a mix of hip-hop and rap. Some of the artists featured on the album include AzChike, Dody8, Hitta J3, Peysoh, Roddy Ricch, Siete7x, SZA, Wallie the Sensai, Lefty Gunplay, and Young Threat.
