SNOW WHITE’S Disney cartoon came out in 1937. Since then, it has been reproduced plenty of times. At first it kept its same script but a few different things would be added. But with the new Snow White movie coming out in 2025 — plot twist — there won’t be a prince charming!
A lot of the movie’s information has been released in interviews that have been done with the main actor, Rachel Ziegler who portays Snow White. And it seems that there are already a lot of opinions on it. But it hasn’t even come out yet!
A lot of people are upset that this movie changes its focus on just Snow White doing her own thing and that she isn’t gonna be dreaming about true love.“Instead, she’s gonna be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be,” Ziegler said in an interview.
One of the main things that has been said is that she could fall in love and STILL be a leader. I feel like a lot of people are upset because this is their favorite childhood fairytale story, and all these changes are causing some confusion as to why. While others think it’s better this way because it’s always been about a girl needing a man to save her, others are saying that it’s good to change the story because they’ve been listening to the same one for decades.
The lead for Snow White has been getting both hate and love because she has shared her opinions on how Snow White was gonna be this time and how she loves that this update it has nothing to do with a charming prince.
