Most girls at Granger High School come to school with a full face of makeup and a cute shade of lipstick or lip liner. Some girls may say they have trouble looking for a cute color or a color that suits them. The school air never lets a girl’s lip liner stay on all day. So, I tried lip stains — they’re for the girls who have to keep touching up their lips every hour. I tried out some popular and most-recommended lip stains.

Starting off with the Hard Candy Pop Tint lip stain, I give it a 4.2/5 rating. It starts at $7 and up. Cherry Splash is one of their most recommended shades. It is bright and gives a cute red lip. This lip stain stays on for a couple of hours until you have to touch it up again. It is more of a lipstick and very dewy. The box says that this shade looks like you just bit into a cherry, which is very true.

The box definitely caught my eye more than the lip stain. This lip stain is a cute color if you just want a little pop of red, but if you want that very red lip, this shade will definitely stay on for hours, depending on how much you put on your lips. This color comes in many shades, so don’t think Cherry Splash is all you can get.

Next is the wet n wild lip stain in the shade Spilled Wine. This lip liner gets a 4.3/5 rating, but deserves more. The price starts at $5 and doesn’t get any higher than that. This lip stain caught my attention the most because of the fact that the packaging is creative, and so is the lip stain.

It is a lip liner looking like a lip stain, but when you open it to put it on, it doesn’t feel like a creamy lip liner. It is a complete marker. This lip stain comes in many different shades. When I tested this lip stain out, it stayed on all day. It lasted me all day at school, and I did not have to touch it up at all. It is a pink mixed with red shade, and it is very vibrant.

Lastly is the e.l.f. lip stain. I give this lip stain a 4.5/5 rating. It is a pretty pricey lip stain, starting at $10 and up. This lip stain is a light shade that doesn’t stay on for long. It is beautiful, and the shade is a cute cherry and grape color.

Some of the pros about this lip liner are that not only is it a lip stain, but it is also a blush tint, which can come in handy. It comes in many colors ranging from different shades of pink, red, and orange. The cons are that it is very watery, so it’s pretty messy; you have to put a bunch of layers of it on for it to fully pop. It doesn’t stay on all day, and you still have to touch up your lips.

The box it comes in and the little bottle might catch attention because of how cute it is, but don’t get fooled, because you ladies are still gonna have to touch up your lips during the day.

Lip stains definitely are cuter and better than lip liners. They definitely stay on longer than lip liners. Lip stains are good because not many teachers let you touch up your makeup during class. Not all lip stains stain your lips how you want them to, but they definitely stay on. Go get those lip stains and try them all out for yourselves.
