WHAT’S the obsession with Needohs? Everywhere you look, someone always has one. I myself have fallen victim to the Needoh craze and occasionally have one in my school bag.
With the rise of fidgets going viral online again, there’s a particular fidget toy everyone keeps talking about: Needohs. They have been around since about 2017, but have recently been going viral on TikTok. This is causing people to look for them everywhere, even going to multiple stores looking for these fidgets. Stores like Target and Walmart have started to limit how many Needohs one person can buy.
I think it’s crazy that people are going to extreme lengths to get them. I’ve seen people lining up at stores, waiting for them to open, and pushing their way through to get these Needohs. They’re great for affordability; their price range is about $3-$16, depending on the specific Needoh you want. There’s the most common “Nice Cube,” but there’s also the “Cool Cat,” “Groovy Glob,” “Gum Drop,” “Nice Ice Baby,” and many more. They help with sensory issues and stress, or simply provide something to fidget with.
I love Needohs, but I don’t have many. Some people have full collections and spend hundreds of dollars on these satisfying toys. The company has faced criticism based on durability and cleanliness. I think Neehohs are here to stay for a long time if the company takes this criticism to heart and improves its products.
Needohs are a great fidget, but there have also been dangerous trends in the past (that you should never try, by the way), where people put them in microwaves to make them softer, but this only causes them to erupt and burn due to the heat mixing with the liquids inside.
I do enjoy playing with Needohs, but I wish bubbles wouldn’t form inside, because it makes it less enjoyable to play with. I would definitely recommend these sensory toys to people who are looking for something that’ll help them with focusing, stress, emotions, strength, or even just to have as a little fidget. I recommend having these in classes, but with supervision for younger kids. They’re available at many stores and online. I like playing with stress toys because they help me focus better and de-stress when I’m overwhelmed. You guys should definitely give them a try because you never know, you might end up loving them and also fall into the Needoh craze.
