HEAR-ME-outs are exciting and silly. Period. They’re a chance for kids to express their unusual opinions about certain characters or even objects. The best hear-me-outs challenge Lancers to rethink what they consider beautiful or attractive. Many hear-me-outs have obviously attractive characteristics, while others have a peculiar taste for things that aren’t so obviously attractive.
“Hear me out on Tigress from Kung Fu Panda,” Ms. Green said. Green explained that Tigress was tough, snarky, and confident, and she always puts Po in his place, which made her very attractive.
“Hear me out on Lightning McQueen!” Keira Pahl (12) said. Pahl says Lightning McQueen is pretty cool, and the Cars movie was her favorite as a kid, so it’s always held a special place in her heart.
“Hear me out on the concept of time and young Joe Biden,” Kate Parkinson (12) explained that she thought the concept of time seemed powerful and omniscient. “Who wouldn’t want a man like that?” Parkinson said. She also says that young Joe Biden was conventionally attractive.
“Hear me out on Mike Wazowski,” Madam Roisum said. She says that Mike was very hardworking in the second movie, which made him a green flag!
“Hear me out on Wendy from Gravity Falls and Sally from Cars,” Riley Barrera (12) said. He liked Wendy because “she’s bad@$$” and he says Sally from Cars is cool because “she’s a Porsche and I love Porsches,” he said.
Mr Weimer had more of a hot take than a hear me out. “Hear me out, I think Timothy Chalamet is a terrible actor,” he said. He especially expressed his distaste for Cahalamet’s acting in his movie Wonka. He says that he would rather watch another terrible movie while eating his least favorite cereal than watch Wonka eat his favorite cereal!
“Hear me out on traditional landline phones,” Lilly Frame (12) said. She likes their style, and she said,” I love the elegant old vintage feel of them.” Frame also explained that traditional landline phones don’t have screens, so they give people a reason to actually see each other in real life to have real conversations.
“Hear me out on Inspector from Sharwama kiosk — a game on Roblox,” Arikka Jackson (12) said. She specifically liked the demon version because he wears all black and is really tall.
“Hear me out on Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story,” Alex Kendall (11) said. He specifically liked the scene where somebody switched Buzz Lightyear’s language settings to Spanish. “I found that scene really funny,” he said.
“Hear me out on sporks, they’re bisexual!” Fredy Gonzales (12) said. He especially liked the spork from the Toy Story movies, but the female version. “It was the first thing I thought of!” he said.
“Hear me out on Rauw Alejandro and Omar Cortez,” Itzel Torrez (10) said. Torrez said she thought of them because they are attractive and are good singers.
Everybody has strong feelings about something or someone, whether it’s hatred for an actor or a seriously questionable attraction to something inanimate. Some people simply feel a connection to characters and things, while others have well-thought-out reasons for finding their hear-me-outs attractive.
