KAROL G made history as the first Latina artist to perform at the iconic Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The singer performed in New York, where she sang songs from her album “Tropi Coqueta,” including “Ivonny Bonita,” which celebrates the models’ talent, walk, and beauty, and celebrates women’s confidence and success. Following that, she sang “LATINA FOREVER,” using the opportunity to perform at such a major event to give a voice to her Latina community before a global audience. The show also marked the return of legendary models like Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. To conclude her performance, Karol G joined the models on the runway, wearing a stunning red outfit with the brand’s iconic angel wings.

“Karol G’s performance at the parade was highly anticipated, and it didn’t disappoint. What I liked most was her outfit. Honestly, I would have added feathered wings or something more eye-catching but delicate, but I didn’t dislike it,” Martina Moreira (12) said.

“What I liked most was Karol’s confidence during her performance. She’s known to be a famous artist and is used to it, but to go from being seen mostly by her Latin community to being in front of so many people from all over the world, you have to have a lot of courage and self-confidence,” Jack Jones (10) said.

“I loved it when she sang the song ‘Ivonny Bonita’ while the models were walking down the runway; it made the show look much prettier, and it also made the models stand out more, and the song represented them as women,” Marien Godoy (10) said.

“I was quite surprised since most of the comments on social media were that her show was going to look “poor” because she’s a Latina artist and because of her musical genre. Karol not only surprised me but also surprised the audience, silencing critics with her successful performance,” Roberto Morales (12) said.

“Karol G’s performance was amazing. She looked so beautiful, with a powerful and happy vibe. I loved that she sang in Spanish; it made her stand out even more. It was one of those performances that makes you feel proud to be Latina,” Francisca Riquelme (11) said.

“Karol G completely stole the show. I loved her energy, her red outfit, and how she commanded the stage. She literally looked like a goddess. You can tell she loves what she does, and that makes you want to chase your dreams too,” Ihanna Quijada (12) said.

“When I saw Karol G at the Victoria’s Secret Show, I was like, wow, how iconic! Everything looked so elegant, but with her urban touch, it was the perfect mix. I love how she always breaks stereotypes and shows that she can be on any stage and won’t let us down,” Virginia Villarreal (11) said.

“I saw the performance on TikTok, and I had to watch it a thousand times. Karol G shone so brightly with the music; the lights, everything, came together perfectly. I even thought it was an inspiration for Latina girls who dream big,” Imed Aguilar (11) said.
