A lot of Granger High students like to participate in CTE classes. One of the popular classes Granger has is welding. A  lot of students like to weld because of the excitement it brings to be able to lay down a good plate of beads. I feel like in the shop students are allowed to be themselves because of how good of a teacher Mr.Murillo is. Being able to weld and get the opportunity to learn a skill while being at school will always be something very lucky for students. Often students are scared because of the electricity and the idea of being electrocuted. Learning how to weld as a student can be really useful to help you start a career and being able to know a skill at a young age would help you in the future a lot. A lot of students have the best time of their high school experience in the welding shop and me personally I think it’s really cool. I think everyone should take the opportunity to weld while being in highschool because it can really be life changing if you work hard enough. Being able to know a trade and have a skill like being able to weld is something that can be very useful when trying to find a way to earn money and do something that you like as a job.
