THE CHEMISTRY between one of the world’s most famous singers, Taylor Swift, and the two-time Super Bowl champion, Travis Kelce, would obviously spark dating rumors.
Back in July, Kelce attended Swift Eras tour concert with Patrick Mahomes and Mrs. Mahomes. Kelce was spotted trading bracelets with Swifties, and enjoying Swift’s concert, but no sighting of Kelce and Swift meeting each other.
On the New Heights podcast a few days after the concert, Kelce said, “So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Apparently Kelce had made a bracelet with his number on it as a way to shoot his shot at Swift.
Fans had mixed feelings about both the singer and the athlete being together, but they didn’t really have much to say about it in the meantime.
Around August, Kelce revealed live that he had shot his shot at Swift. Kelce said, “And I told her I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit. So we’ll see what happens in the near future.”
In September, Swift was spotted with Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, in attendance at the Kansas Chiefs football game by multiple social media, and sports outlets. The internet broke as soon as Swift was spotted. Swift seemed to have fun in Kelce’s football suite next to his family and friends.
Kelce was also having one of his best games yet besides his super bowl games. When the game was over they left in their getaway car, a convertible.
They were all over social media and the Swifties were excited and eager to find out more about Kelce. Kelce’s fans still had mixed feelings about the potential relationship and many did complain about Swift being all over sports outlets because she isn’t a part of the sports world.
Good thing for Kelce, his Jersey 87 had skyrocketed in sales. Swifties were becoming Kelce’s fans and welcomed him into their fan club. Kelce’s football fans eventually accepted the Swifties and said they weren’t that bad; some even described Swifties as full of enthusiasm and curiosity for the football.
Kelce thought the NFL, social media, and other sports outlets were overdoing it, but he did say they were having fun with it, and it seemed cool how they were showing a singer in the football world.
In November, Kelce flew to Argentina for Swift’s Eras tour concert. Many were surprised he went to support her all the way to Buenos Aires. Kelce was in attendance with Swift’s father, Scott Swift.
Kelce enjoyed being at the Buenos Aires show and was shocked at Swift’s “electric crowds.” At the Buenos Aires show, Travis had a special surprise. Swift seemed to surprise all the Swifties, and Kelce, with the changed lyric from Karma where she sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”
Kelce was spotted blushing and turning red from the lyrics she changed for him.
Kelce and Swift have big fan bases and big reputations, will they be able to take on both worlds together? We can expect to hear more about their relationship in the future. Kelce and Swift seem sure to stick around each other for a while.
