KAYLA Mercado (12) says she likes cheerleading and how her cheer group bonded so well. She also likes to grow as a person, and she likes how she and her group are like family. What she does not like about cheerleading is that she has to wake up at 5:00 a.m. to train. To join cheerleading, students must join clinic days and then they can audition where they perform what they learned during clinic days.
Shareth Perez (12) says her favorite thing about cheerleading is that she likes that they all work as a team. She likes to make memories as a team. Like Kayla, she does not like that she has to wake up really early for practice.

Some of the things that cheerleaders have to do are exercises, and they have to learn what to do in the position that they have. The coach for the cheerleading team is Ms. Peterson. What she must do is inspire and lead cheerleaders in training and conditioning, creating routines, and performing physical studies.
