THE LANCER school year is nearly coming to an end. Students are done trying, tired of waking up early, and are ready to leave and go enjoy the summer.
“I am so ready for the summer. I have already been staying up late playing the game with my friends and staying out a little later than I normally would. It has been a heck of a year for me. It was hard keeping a great night and morning routine just for school. Now, that school is coming to an end, I don’t have to worry about that for like two months”, said Dape Sun (10th).
Sleeping early can be difficult for Lancers, especially if Lancers use their phones before bed. Students should always turn off screens 30 minutes before bed. This helps by making it easier to sleep. There are also some breathing techniques that can help student Lancers go to sleep a tad bit easier.
“It gets super hard for me to go to sleep especially if I take a nap beforehand. If I can’t sleep, I’m probably going to relax, listen to music, eat, play video games, and maybe get missing assignments done. I’ve always been able to keep up in school. I maintain the best grades possible right now. I can’t wait for school to end but I am also going to miss my friends that I hang out with everyday even though I can see them this summer, said Landyn Cassity (10th).
Sleeping in class is a huge conflict that occurs Granger students almost everyday. Lancers could have problems going on at home or some could have a condition that causes them to lose sleep at night.
