GRANGER High lancers say how they felt about TikTok getting banned for 12 hours and what their thoughts were about that. The first student to tell us their opinion on this Tiktok ban is Rosie Harry (11). The first question was how did she feel when TikTok got banned. “I was actually laughing at first because I saw how everyone was crashing out when TikTok got banned but then I was actually upset about it,” Harry said.
The next question was what app was she using when Tiktok got banned for those 12 hours? “I was using Instagram but ended up getting bored because it was not the same as Tiktok,” Rosie said. The next question was then about if TikTok got banned permanently, where are you planning to delete it? “No, I couldn’t do it. I did think about it but I knew it was gonna come back and plus I couldn’t do it,” Rosie said.
The next question was how she felt when Tiktok got back. “I felt so happy but I felt suspicious at the time because why did they only ban it for 12 hours,” Rosie said. “My Tiktok was glitched and my FYP feed kept showing old videos that I reposted plus Tiktok has been acting up ever since I got back,” she said.
The last question was about what app she would use if TikTok got banned. “I was gonna use Instagram. I feel like Instagram is better than other apps for entertainment apart from TikTok obviously,” Rosie said.
The next person to give their thoughts and opinions on the TikTok ban is Florence Sui (9), who was asked the same questions. “I was indelible, I couldn’t believe Tiktok was actually banned,” said Sui. She then continued about which app she was using. “Instagram, I was sending reels to my cousins and friends,” Florence said.
Continuing, when asked about deleting the app, she left a statement. “No never, I’m gonna keep it forever even if it doesn’t work I’m still gonna have it on my home screen,” Florence said. “How did you feel when Tiktok got back?” “I felt happy Tiktok is my pride, my ride or die so I was happy when TikTok came back,” Florence said. The last question was “What app were you gonna use if Tiktok did get banned.?” Florence said, “ Instagram is the best 2nd app.” That is all Florence had to say. The last person who is gonna give their thoughts about the TikTok ban is Lucas Mutchler (9) The first question was “How did you feel when TikTok got banned.?” “I didn’t care, I knew it would come back with Trump but I was scared a little bit,” Lucas said. The next question was “What app were you using when Tiktok got banned those 12 hours.?” Lucas said, “I switched to Instagram reels it wasn’t bad.” The next question was “When Tiktok got banned, did you think of deleting it.?” “I didn’t delete it. I knew it was gonna come back and when it did I switched back to it.” Lucas said. “How do you feel now that Tiktok is back.?” “Happy about it since I watch a lot of Tiktok,” Lucas said. The last question was “What app were you gonna use if TikTok did get banned.?” Lucas said “Probably Instagram or a decoy because my sister used a decoy and said it was just like TikTok but so is Instagram and that is why.” That is all Lucas had to say.
